“Blooming in Time” tracks major milestones, in graphic snapshot form, in a Bloom author’s life.  This week, we look at the remarkable journey of Donald Ray Pollock, who spent 32 years working in a paper mill before starting to write fiction seriously.  He published his first story at age 51, and at age 54, Doubleday published his first story collection, the critically acclaimed Knockemstiff.  Pollock’s first novel, The Devil All the Time, was recently released in paperback.
